According to Article 3(11) of Decree Law 62/98/M, the persons entitled to special vacations have the obligation to provide their employer with authentic documents to establish the fact that they have used their special vacations in places other than Macao. The public departments requiring their staff to do so are in compliance with Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Act, without breaching the legal purposes of data collection.
